V3 Credit Card Capture Form

The V3 Credit Card Capture Form can be used to ensure the credit cards you have on file are updated and accurate. It can be emailed to your Clients or hosted on a website. This form can be created from scratch or downloaded from the Marketplace.

Add Fields to the V3 CC Capture Form

When you first open the V3 CC Capture Form, it'll look something like this:

Currently, the only fields your Clients would see are the Update Card button and the Submit button. While this Form may work when emailed to Clients individually, it isn't ideal for Account Matching.
We recommend editing the Form to include Account Matching fields, such as Name and Email.

To add the name and email fields to your V3 Credit Card Capture Form, follow these steps:

  1. Open your V3 Credit Card Capture Form (Marketing > Forms).
  2. Click the Edit button.

  3. This opens the Add Form overlay, which defaults to the FIELDS tab. Scroll down to Advanced Fields, and click the Name option to add the First and Last Name fields to your Form. Rearrange these fields as needed.

  4. Navigate back to the FIELDS tab then click the Email option. The Select Email Type dialog appears:

Select the Email field you want to add to your Form then click Add.
  5. An email field will be added to your form. Depending on your selection in step four, it may be titled differently. Rearrange the field as needed:

  10. Once you're done configuring your Form, click the Publish tab. Any "MUST FIX" warnings need to be fixed before you can publish your form. "SUGGESTED" warnings do not need to be fixed before publishing.
  11. Click Publish to save your changes.

Host the V3 CC Capture Form on a Website

If you want to host your V3 CC Capture Form on your website, follow these steps:

  1. Open your V3 Credit Card Capture Form (Marketing > Forms).
  2. Click the Edit button. This opens the Add Form overlay.
  3. Click the Publish tab then select Form Options.
  4. Select Website to publish your Form to a website then choose one of the following:

    • Hosted Form - If you choose this option, the Form will live on its own page on the SA server. Click Copy to copy the Form's web address to your clipboard then paste it to your social media website.
    • Embedded Form - With this publishing option, the Form lives directly on your website. We'll give you the iFrame code with the Form's information, so you can embed it on your website. Any updates you make to the Form in SA will automatically update the Form on your website. Click Copy to copy the Form's web address to your clipboard.
    • Source Code - This option is for advanced users and provides the complete source code of the Form. If you change the Form later and republish it, you'll need to copy and paste the source code again.
Note: The source code will not be available for CC Forms.

Click the "Not sure? Click here to send instructions to your webmaster." link at the bottom to email all three options to your webmaster.

Tip: If the Copy buttons for Hosted Form and Embedded Form are grey, try clicking Publish. That should turn the buttons green, so you can copy the Form's web address to your clipboard.
