Forms are a helpful tool that can be used to gather data. You can use them on your website or have your resources fill them out in the field while on a Job. To help you better understand how Forms can be used for your business, we will explain each setting in detail.
- Title - The name that shows on the Forms list screen (Marketing > Forms).
- Name - The title at the top of the Form. This will be visible to clients.
- Description - A small description located below the name field on the top of the Form.
- Confirmation Type - Choose to show a confirmation message or redirect to a webpage once the Form is filled out.
- Confirm Message/Redirect URL - Enter the confirmation message that will appear once the Form is filled out. If "Redirect URL" is selected, enter the URL of the webpage you want to redirect the user to once the Form is filled out.
- Show in Timelines - This setting is obsolete and can be skipped.
- Send Internal Email - Enable this setting to send an internal email that notifies someone within your company that the Form was completed. Once enabled, an Email Options link will appear. Click on this to customize the internal email.
- Send Email Confirmation - Enable this setting to send a confirmation email to the Client or Lead once the Form is filled out. Once enabled, an Email Options link will appear. Click on this to customize the confirmation email.
- Show on Assets - Enable this setting to have this Form show on Assets.
- Show on Mobile - Enable this setting to have this Form available on the legacy mobile app. Once enabled, a Mobile Options link will appear. Click on this to customize when and where the Form will appear on the legacy mobile app.
- Tags on Submit - Enable this setting to have Tags applied to the Client or Lead once the Form is submitted. Once enabled, a Customize Tags link will appear. Click on this to customize which tags will apply on submit.
- Tags on Click - Enable this setting to have Tags applied to the Client or Lead once the link to the Form is clicked. Once enabled, a Customize Tags link will appear. Click on this to customize which tags will apply on click.
- Show Attachments - Enable to have an attachments option show to the user filling out the Form. Use this option if you want something like a photo of the property attached to the Form.
- Block Multiple Submissions - Enable to prevent this Form from being filled out multiple times from the same Form URL. For example, if this Form is sent by email to a Client, the Form can only be filled out once using that link.
- Auto Approve Create on Submit - Enable this setting if you want the system to automatically Create on Submit without manual review.
- Create on Submit - Choose an action for the system to take once the Form is filled out. For example, if this Form is listed as a Lead capture on your website, select "Create/Update Lead". This will allow the system to create a Lead from the information entered on the Form.
- Associate to Services and Tickets - Select an item from these lists if you want this Form to show up only on certain Services or Tickets. For example, if you want this Form filled out after every mowing Job on the mobile app, you'll select your mowing service along with Show on Mobile.
