V2 Form Field Settings - Explanation of Fields

Every field type within a Form has additional settings that will help you better manage your Form content. We recommend you use these settings to maximize the benefit of Forms. There are different settings available for each field type.

Standard Fields

Select the field below to reveal the available settings and definitions.

Text
  • Field Label - The text displayed above the field on the Form
  • Field Width - The size of the text box
  • Default Value - Any text entered here will automatically show up on the Form
  • Visibility Level - Indicate if this field is visible to everyone or only office users
  • Help Text - Enter any text that might help the user fill out the Form
  • Required Field - Requires this field to be filled out before a user can submit the Form
  • Map To - Choose the SA Account field that this Form field will map to
  • Custom Field - If a custom field is chosen for your Map To, then select the custom field here
  • Do not Overwrite - If mapped to a custom field, enable this setting to prevent any new entry from overwriting an existing entry
  • Character Limit - A limit for the number of characters in a field
  • Field Tags - Select tags to be added to the Account based on the entry in the field
Paragraph
  • Field Label - The text displayed above the field on the Form
  • Field Width - The size of the text box
  • Default Value - Any text entered here will automatically show up on the Form
  • Visibility Level - Indicate if this field is visible to everyone or only office users
  • Help Text - Enter any text that might help the user fill out the Form
  • Required Field - Requires this field to be filled out before a user can submit the Form
  • Map To - Choose the SA Account field that this Form field will map to
  • Custom Field - If a custom field is chosen for your Map To, then select the custom field here
  • Do not Overwrite - If mapped to a custom field, enable this to prevent any new entry from overwriting an existing entry
  • Character Limit - A limit for the number of characters in a field

Multiple Choice
  • Field Label - The text displayed above the field on the Form
  • Visibility Level - Indicate if this field is visible to everyone or only office users
  • Help Text - Enter any text that might help the user fill out the Form
  • Required Field - Requires this field to be filled out before a user can submit the Form
  • Map To - Choose the SA Account field that this Form field will map to
  • Custom Field - If a custom field is chosen for your Map To, then select the custom field here
  • Do not Overwrite - If mapped to a custom field, enable this to prevent any new entry from overwriting an existing entry
  • Field Tags - Select tags to be added to the Account based on the entry in the field
  • Field Selections - Enter the multiple choice options and select Add Item to add additional selection options
Number
  • Field Label - The text displayed above the field on the Form
  • Field Width - The size of the text box
  • Default Value - Any text entered here will automatically show up on the Form
  • Visibility Level - Indicate if this field is visible to everyone or only office users
  • Help Text - Enter any text that might help the user fill out the Form
  • Required Field - Requires this field to be filled out before a user can submit the Form
  • Map To - Choose the SA Account field that this Form field will map to
  • Custom Field - If a custom field is chosen for your Map To, then select the custom field here
  • Do not Overwrite - If mapped to a custom field, enable this to prevent any new entry from overwriting an existing entry
  • Field Tags - Select tags to be added to the Account based on the entry in the field
  • Min Value - Minimum number that the user can enter when submitting the Form
  • Max Value - Maximum number that the user can enter when submitting the Form
Section Break
  • Field Label - The text displayed above the field on the Form
  • Visibility Level - Indicate if this field is visible to everyone or only office users
  • Help Text - Enter any text that might help the user fill out the Form
Checkboxes
  • Field Label - The text displayed above the field on the Form
  • Visibility Level - Indicate if this field is visible to everyone or only office users
  • Help Text - Enter any text that might help the user fill out the Form
  • Required Field - Requires this field to be filled out before a user can submit the Form
  • Map To - Choose the SA Account field that this Form field will map to
  • Custom Field - If a custom field is chosen for your Map To, then select the custom field here
  • Do not Overwrite - If mapped to a custom field, enable this to prevent any new entry from overwriting an existing entry
  • Field Tags - Select tags to be added to the Account based on the entry in the field
  • Field Selections - Enter the checkbox options and select Add Item to add additional selection options
Dropdown List
  • Field Label - The text displayed above the field on the Form
  • Field Width - The size of the text box
  • Visibility Level - Indicate if this field is visible to everyone or only office users
  • Help Text - Enter any text that might help the user fill out the Form
  • Required Field - Requires this field to be filled out before a user can submit the Form
  • Map To - Choose the SA Account field that this Form field will map to
  • Custom Field - If a custom field is chosen for your Map To, then select the custom field here
  • Do not Overwrite - If mapped to a custom field, enable this to prevent any new entry from overwriting an existing entry
  • Field Tags - Select tags to be added to the Account based on the entry in the field
  • Field Selections - Enter the dropdown options and select Add Item to add additional selection options
Yes/No
  • Field Label - The text displayed above the field on the Form
  • Visibility Level - Indicate if this field is visible to everyone or only office users

  • Required Field - Requires this field to be filled out before a user can submit the Form
  • Map To - Choose the SA Account field that this Form field will map to

Advanced Fields

Name
  • Field Label - The text displayed above the field on the Form

Address
