Calendar Settings - Change Color

You have the option of changing your Calendar color to reflect different Resources, Services, or Job Statuses. You will need to set up different information for each one but steps to change the color on the Calendar are the same:

  1. Go to Scheduling > Calendar.
  2. Click More.
  3. Select "Settings".
  4. Update the Color dropdown list.

If at any point you forget what the colors mean on your current view or want to see all of the colors at a glance, you can always go to More > Legend to display a legend.

 

Calendar Color by Service

 To see this color update on the Calendar, you will need to set a Task Color at the Service level. You can do this by going to Settings > Services. Click on any Service and hover over the Task Color to reveal a color picker. Choose a color and save your changes.

Calendar Color by Resource

To see this update on the Calendar, you must first assign a Calendar Color to Employees, Vendors, or Teams. All of these can be found under their respective selection on the "Team" tab. For an Employee or Vendor, the Calendar Color is on the "User Settings" tab.

On a Team, this setting is on the "Team Details" tab.

Calendar Color by Status Type

When this setting is selected, all items on the Calendar will reflect the color of gold, red, and green. Items in gold mean that the Jobs have been Dispatched. Red means that the Jobs are pending dispatch, and green means the Jobs are completed.
