From the Dispatch Board, you can send text messages to your resources or clients. You do not need to have a Pro Plus or Two-Way Texting subscription to do this, just the cell phone number and provider of the person you want to message. Only one message can be sent at a time. SA does not currently support texting to multiple recipients at once.
Use the following steps:
- On the Dispatch Board, hover over the More dropdown list.
- Click Send Text.
Note: If you have Two-Way texting, selecting this will open up the Message Center instead of the Text Message dialog.
- On the Text Message dialog, select the Resource you wish to message or enter the cell phone number of the client you wish to text.
- The Cell Phone Number and Cell Provider will be filled in when you select a Resource if that information is already on the Employee or Vendor record. If it is not on the Employee or Vendor record, enter it in the dialog.
- Enter a message.
- Click Send Text.
