Service Autopilot allows you to capture signatures on your Legacy app and automatically attach them to your Accounts' Timelines.
In order to use this feature, the mobile user needs to be able to see Work Orders. You can edit this permission under Settings > User Roles & Rights.
To capture a Work Order signature on the Legacy app, follow these steps:
- From the My Schedule screen, tap a work order.
- On the Job Detail screen, tap View Work Order.
- Tap Sign. This will open the signature screen.
- Ask the Client to use their fingertip to sign in the signature box. The red “X” at the bottom center will erase a signature attempt and allow a new attempt.
- Tap Save.
Saving the signature will immediately upload the signature and create a signed PDF while returning you to the Work Order screen. Instead of “Sign” and “Email” at the top, you will now see “View PDF” and “Email.” Viewing the PDF will show you your Client's signature entered into the "Signature" field. The "Email" icon allows you to send the PDF to the Client.
