Manage Pop-up Blockers in Firefox and Chrome

There are some pages in SA that are designed to open a new window, such as Estimate previews and Route Sheets. Sometimes, these get stuck in your browser's pop-up blocker. This article is designed to give you more information on how to deal with this issue in the two browsers that SA supports - Firefox and Chrome.

Pop-up Blockers in Firefox

If something gets caught in a pop-up blocker in Firefox, you will likely see a message similar to this:

Notice the yellow banner and the lock icon in the URL bar. Click the Options button to display the following options:

  • Allow/Block pop-ups for this site
  • Edit Pop-up Blocker Options
  • Don't show this message when pop-ups are blocked
  • Show the blocked pop-up

So you don't have to deal with it again, select the first option to allow pop-ups for Service Autopilot. The overlay will look something like this, only with the website address auto-filled for you:

All you will have to do is click Allow and Save Changes. For more information about the pop-up blocker in Firefox, please click here

Pop-up Blockers in Chrome

Blocked pop-ups in Chrome are a little more difficult to identify. In the address bar of your browser, this icon unnamed.png will display briefly. If you miss it, click the link again and you should see the icon again. Click the icon to go to the pop-up blocker settings. There, you can allow pop-ups from the site you came from (SA).
