To add a Contact Us and Estimate Request form to an external website, follow these steps:
1. Go to Marketing > Websites.
- Initially, all accounts will have an External Website domain listed - www.yoursamplecompany.com. If this exists, select this domain.
- If the External Website domain is already listed, select that domain.
- If no External Website domain is listed, or you need an additional one, click Add External Site, then select www.yoursamplecompany.com.
2. Specify your Domain and Notification Settings:
- Click Edit under the Settings section.
- Enter the domain name of the website, such as www.mydomain.com.
- Enter the company name.
- Enter the email addresses where the Contact Us and Estimate Request forms should be sent. A notification will also be listed on their Service Autopilot Home page.
- For the Contact Thank You Page and the Estimate Thank You Page, enter the web address of the specific web page to be displayed after the forms have been completed and submitted, such as http://www.mydomain.com/thank-you-page.html.
- Click Save Changes when you're done.
3. Specify your Estimate Settings:
- Press Edit under the Estimate Settings Section.
- Select the fields to be displayed:
- Fill out Group Headings and include services for the Estimate form:
- Save your changes when you're finished.
4. Go into Estimates Settings again:
- Press Edit under the Estimate Settings Section.
5. To get the Contact Form for the website:
- Press the Get Contact Form button.
- Click the Source button pictured below, select all code that appears in the window, and paste this code into the appropriate webpage of the external site.
- Make sure when you paste the code, you are in Html mode on the external site's editor.
- Close the code window.
6. Get the Estimate Form for your website:
- Press the Get Estimate Form button.
- Click the Source button pictured below, select all code that appears in the window, and paste this code into the appropriate webpage of the external site.
- Make sure when you paste the code, you are in Html mode on the external site's editor.
- Close the code window.
Note: If any changes are made to the Estimate Settings or the Notification Settings, you must generate new Html code and copy onto the external website. Perform steps 5 & 6.
