Service Autopilot will attempt to generate an account number for a new Client when they are created. You can control the next number that will be used in the series. This is useful if you used some type of account numbering before you joined SA. To update the next account number used, use the following steps:
- Go to Settings > Company Information.
- Click the Accounting tab.
- Type in the next account number you need in the Next Account # field.
- Click Save Changes.
