Services - Update Default Estimate Description

There are two levels where you can edit the Estimate Description of a Service or Product: the default description (at the Service or Product level) and the description on an individual Estimate.

If you do not initially customize the Estimate Description when you create a Service, it will default to the same text as the Invoice Description.

To update the default Estimate Description of a Service, use the following steps: 

  1. Go to Settings > Services
  2. Select the Service you want to modify.
  3. Go to the "Estimates" tab.
  4. Modify the Description on Estimate field.

  5. Click Save.

The process for updating products is the same as above, just start from a Product overlay instead.
