For ease of routing, you might want to move a property marker from where Google places it to the street, access point, or nearest road. The marker location is based on the address. In some cases, you might want to move it elsewhere on the property.
For example, on a large or rural property, placing the marker at the entrance for your team will help with routing and help them find the correct location on the mobile apps.
- Select the property map marker. The open hand changes to a finger pointer.
- Drag and drop the marker on the new location. The panel displays the original and current latitude and longitude data, updated real-time, as the map marker is moved around the map.
- Click Save Location.
