For Client Portal Registration, we made a change to the Opt in for Email and Text Communications check box. This box is checked by default.

If they leave the box checked, clients will be double-opted in for marketing email communications, which means they have increased deliverability.

If they uncheck the box, clients are no longer opted out of marketing email and two-way texting,  they just won't be double-opted in for marketing emails.
