Client Portal users have the ability to reset their own password in case they happen to forget it. The user will need to know their username and the answers to their security questions OR the email address they have on their account.
Note: If a Client forgets their username, you can locate it for them within SA by going to their Client Account page > click edit > go to the details tab.
To reset a Client Portal password, follow these steps from a computer or the Manage Service app:
Reset with Security Questions
- Go to the Client Portal URL or the Manage Service app to log in.
- Click the Forgot Password link below the green LOG IN button:
- Enter your username and click Next:
- Answer the security questions then click Next.
- Enter a new password and click Submit:
Note: You must follow the password rules to successfully reset your password.
Reset Without Security Questions
- Go to the Client Portal URL or the Manage Service app to log in.
- Click the Forgot Password link below the green LOG IN button:
- Enter your username and click Next:
- Click the blue Forgot Security Questions link under the Next button:
- Enter the username and email address for the Account and click Next:
- An email with the subject line "Your portal password recovery request" will be sent to the email address provided. Open the email and click the URL to continue resetting the password.
- Enter the username and click Next.
- Enter a new password and click Submit.
