The options you see in the dropdown list will vary depending on which version of SA you're using (Classic or New).

The Classic Quick Add Menu

On Classic screens such as the My Day page, the menu will appear with the following options:

  • Client - Add a new Account with the Type designation of "Client". Use this option if you need to create an Account you know you'll need to immediately schedule a Job for.
  • Lead - Add a new Account with the Type designation of "Lead". Use this option if you're unsure of the client's business, such as when someone contacts you for an Estimate.
  • Estimate - Add a new Estimate to an existing Account.
  • Ticket - Add a new Note or Call to an Account.
  • Job - Add a new Job to an Account. This will open the Job Wizard, which allows you to schedule a Job of any type.
  • Package - Add a new Package to an Account. This option is a shortcut to the Job Wizard, specifically for scheduling Package Jobs.

The New Quick Add Menu

On New screens, such as the Accounts list screen, the menu will appear with the following options:

  • Account - Add a new Account. The default Account Type selected will be "Client" but you can change it to "Lead" if needed.
  • Estimate - Add a new Estimate to an existing Account.
  • Ticket - Add a new Ticket to an existing Account. You can select from Notes, Calls, or Calendar Events on the Add Ticket overlay.
  • Job - Add a new Job to an existing Client Account.

Note: On Demand Jobs cannot be added from the New Job Wizard. This must be done from the Advanced Actions list on the Account Review overlay.
  • Email - Send a new email to an existing Account or any manually entered email address.

Any overlay that pops up from the side of the screen can be closed by clicking anywhere outside the overlay. If you have entered information on the overlay, a message will display ensuring you want to close the overlay without saving your changes:
